Dave Bluemel Is a Wyoming native. After finishing his bachelor’s degree with a concentration in Professional Family Services at the University of Wyoming he decided to attend the Utah College of Massage Therapy where he received in depth training on multiple massage modalities. Upon successful completion of massage school and the National Licensing exam he worked at the Golden Door Spa at the Peaks Resort in Telluride, CO. Following this experience he went to the Nemacolin Woodlands Spa in the Laurel Highlands of Pennsylvania. After working in the resort industry for a few years he decided to further his education and came back to UW to complete a Master’s in Public Administration. When Dave isn’t working he enjoys many forms of outdoor recreation with his family. He currently works in student affairs on campus and is excited for the opportunity to continue to utilize his massage experience to treat stress and muscle aches through massage at the Albany County Chiropractic Center.
Born and raised here in Laramie, she received her Massage Therapy Certification from Allied Health Institute in Fort Lauderdale, FL in 2010. She began her career as an intern at Zen Central in downtown Laramie. She continued pursing her knowledge of health and massage daily and in doing this hopes to continually be able to improve herself; adapt to and offer quality care for a variety of patient’s specific needs to improve overall well-being.
While practicing massage, she fell in love with anatomy and the therapeutic health benefits involved. She went on to receive a certification in Medical assisting in 2013 of which she has practiced since in family medicine including pediatrics and internal medicine. She finds the combination of both fields a proven benefit in providing wellness both as preventative care and during the healing process.
Her goal and her passion is to use her skills and the true benefits of massage as therapeutic healing within the community.
She has been doing massage for her friends, family and coworkers mostly working on building a clientele while employed full-time as a medical assistant, but as of lately, she has the opportunity to do massage as a full-time career which she is very excited in expanding. She has 3 beautiful daughters of whom are everything and she is very happy and grateful to be a part of the family here at Albany County Chiropractic. She looks forward to incorporating her skills into this already beneficial practice.
